“ My husband and I enjoyed a holiday meal with cousins I only get to see once a year when I return to my roots from Atlanta, GA. We have eaten at Botto's frequently anytime I travel to South Jersey. There are many great Italian restaurants in the area. But, on this night (December 3, 2024) my husband and I ordered a salad that we shared and two entrees - Penne Pasta with Broccolli Rabe and Wild Mushroom Bolognese. Both dishes were spectacular with #1 being the Penne Pasta and a close #2 was the Bolognese. Service was spectacular and we mentioned that to the restaurant manager. “ Botto's is my Go To spot when I'm in the area. The staff is great. The food is excellent . I try to get there at least once a month. I really appreciate that they are willing to accommodate when I want things that are not on the menu but they have the ingredients. I had a salad with sharp provolone and prosciutto. Excellent. Also my new favorite is the strip steak sandwich. A real steak on a roll. Amazing tender a d delicious. I highly recommend Botto's. ”
“ Well I'm not sure why this Botto's only has 3.5 stars but let's try to change that. I came here for a business dinner snd was very impressed by pretty much everything. The food wasn't cheap but I'm willing to pay for quality. On top of that was the quantity! The portions were big! The service was great and fairly quick for all the food we ordered. It's a nice cute little place and I will definitely come back. I want to say thank you to the chef and his/her team, the food tasted like they really like what they do. Being in the food industry myself, I know it's not easy to be consistent but everything was great from the appetizers all the way through the desserts and cappuccino. Thank you! ”
“ Botto's has been consistently delicious. Flavor rich but not over seasoned nor over salted. The service was great however we must live in a world now where bread & butter must be requested. I'm not sure why I thought bread & butter on the table to kick off dinner would be automatic instead of sipping drinks with nothing to nibble on until the apps arrive. I do enjoy their takeout more than dining in for a few reasons. They really do a great job with takeout ”
“ We sat outside on the patio for dinner. Nice breeze and they have a some fans, so it was very comfortable. I had the Penne with broccoli rabe and added the famous Botto's sweet Italian sliced sausage. Had a couple craft, Raccoon IPA's from our local Swedesboro Brewing Company. Even though we were at the far end of the patio, the service was excellent. ”
“ I didn't take a photo because I was so tired by the time we got there! We'd been up early and on the road for 4 hours upon arrival. We were both so pleased with the very delicious eggplant parmigiana with linguine, it was perfectly prepared! The eggplant was crispy and fresh tasting, the mozzarella generous and the sauce perfection! Pasta was Al dente perfect! Service was excellent and the outside table very relaxing. I've been vegetarian for awhile and frequently choose this dish wherever I am and Botto's has set a very high bar! I highly recommend this restaurant in the picturesque village of Swedesboro. ”
